New Database - British women's struggle for suffrage

The Visual Arts Data Service (VADS) opened a new database about British women's struggle for suffrage. The Women's Library Suffrage Collection, housed at London Metropolitan University, is available in digitized form here: http://www.vads.ac.uk/collections/WLS. The collection includes posters, postcards, photographs, and images of material objects from the Women's Library. There is a separate collection of suffrage banners and associated artwork available here: http://www.vads.ac.uk/collections/FSB. The vast holdings of the Women's Library are not all available digitally, but these online collections are substantial and offer excellent and varied visual materials.
